For the next 16 months – from January 2012 until April 2013 – I invite you to take part in an exciting and faith-building journey through the Bible. Together, as a church family we will read, share, and learn about the defining stories of Scripture.

The Bible contains 66 books that tell the story of you, the story of me, the story of us … and most importantly, the story of God! It really is the greatest story ever told. There is a Creator who longs to be in a relationship, based in love, with his creation.

Throughout this 16-month season of life for Hope, we will open the Bible in new and refreshing ways …

The goal is for us as a church to become fluent in the Bible! For those who already are, this Bible journey will teach you a much broader biblical vocabulary. For those who aren’t, this will be a great way for you to learn the language of God!

As we move closer to becoming a 50/50 church (half of all offerings designated for outreach), and everything that will entail, we need to continue to grow deeper in faith – and I can’t think of a better way to do that than to open our hearts and minds to God’s life-changing written word! God has something he wants to tell us … and I can’t wait to hear it!
