Will Pile - Audio Technical Coordinator
 

Will Pile was born in Newport, Rhode Island and spent the first 25 years of his life in the New England area. Ever since Will went to his first rock concert he knew he wanted to be involved in mixing sound. During his college years at UMASS, he studied theater with his spare classes, worked at the radio station as the production director and an on-air volunteer, and worked his way up through the ranks at the Fine Arts Center to eventually become the production stage manager. Will received an undergraduate degree in communication disorders from UMASS in 1995 and continued working as a sound engineer and rigger, freelancing and touring with several nationally known productions around the world.

After a series of events that could only be seen as God-orchestrated, he relocated to Des Moines and began volunteering at Lutheran Church of Hope in 2004.  Will joined the Production staff in 2006 and is currently the Audio Technical Director.  Will is crazy about his wife Renee, and they share one talented, smart, and funny son, Joe.  Will enjoys free time at his son’s sporting events and plays, working hands on projects, traveling, motorcycling and anything related to music.  Will is famous for all-season grilling and is a member of Red Sox Nation.
