Michaelle Bown - Children’s Ministry Administrative Director
Due to her extensive familiarity with the inner workings of Children’s Ministry, her knowledge of where to find whatever is needed at any time and her ability to fix all things broken, Michaelle Bown has become a fixture at Children’s Ministry -- and her co-workers aim to keep it that way! That probably has a lot to do with the fact that she has been involved with Children’s Ministry as either a volunteer (for three years) or staff member (for four years) since moving back to Iowa from Minnesota. Her home’s proximity to the church (right across the parking lot) affords her a constant view of Hope’s happenings as well as a 30 second commute! Michaelle has been married to Dan for 25 years and is mom to Cory, Sam and Lauren. What she loves most about Hope is that it felt like home right from the beginning and that it is "ever changing, always growing." Michaelle also leads Hope Stampers, a group that meets monthly to hand-make cards which are sent to Hope members on the prayer list.
