Josh Kaiser - Media Ministry Director

Josh Kaiser has been Hope’s Production Director since September of 2000. He leads a rapidly growing staff of incredible people and a generous team of volunteers, each with their own unique set of gifts. Together, they seek to create experiences that allow people to encounter God through sight and sound for nearly every ministry at Hope.

As a preacher’s kid, Josh grew up in a ministry atmosphere his entire life. His career as a sound guy began at a very young age in his father’s small-town church in south central Iowa. Josh’s family later returned to Des Moines where he found himself serving in the media ministry at a local church at the young age of 12 and later joined the staff for seven years. After graduating from high school, Josh took to the road with a local production company, working with artists such as the Charlie Daniels Band, Emerson Drive, Sons of the Desert and Michael W. Smith. Josh has also worked in a Tennessee county theater as the audio engineer for several theatrical productions including West Side Story and Sander's Family Christmas. Josh also serves by doing A/V system design and consulting for area churches and businesses.

In addition to serving as Hope's Production Director, you may find Josh on stage behind a drum set. He loves music and thoroughly enjoys his vocation and profession here at Hope. He is grateful to be serving in his area of passion to further the Kingdom.

Josh lives in Urbandale with his beautiful bride, Beth, and their three wonderful cats: Fritz, Myles and Nellie.
