Jan Hoyt, New Horizons Preschool Director
Since completing her degree at the University of Iowa in Early Childhood Education, Jan has spent more than 20 years “immensely enjoyable” years in the preschool profession,, either as a teacher or as a director. Jan opened New Horizons Preschool at Hope with another teacher in l994. After living in Iowa City for many years, Jan and her husband Roger are, of course, avid Hawkeye fans. They have two married sons; Nate, who lives in Kansas City, and Zach, who resides in Coralville. Jan feels very fortunate to have witnessed all the changes at Hope over the last 13 years! |
