Chris Schuchmann -- Office Assistant
Chris Schuchmann joined Lutheran Church of Hope in early 1998 with her husband, Steve, and sons, Brent and David, who are now 22 and 20. The Schuchmanns moved to West Des Moines 18 years ago from Aurora, Illinois, where Chris worked as a legal secretary for over 20 years. A volunteer at heart, she started helping around the church office in various capacities right away after joining the church. Chris has also enjoyed volunteering for Vacation Bible School and the Design Team, as well as being a mamber of the Praise! Choir. In May of 2002, she officially joined the Hope staff, and has loved every minute of her work. Her true passions are helping people and singing with the Praise! Choir, "making a joyful noise to the Lord." |
