How can I get connected into a small group?
The four avenues for getting connected into a group at Hope are:
1. 2009: Year of the Bible Groups
2. Alpha
3. Community Life for Women, Men, Singles, 50+, Engaged & Married Couples, and Parents have opportunities to connect into discussion groups. Discussion groups can then decide to become small groups. Please check the individual ministries’ pages for
connection opportunities.
4. Form your own small group. Hope helps by supplying small group leader training – both at an introductory level, as well as periodic ongoing training dealing with specific issues. If you are interested in forming your own small group, please contact Melissa Johnson-Matthews at smallgroups@hopewdm.org or 222-1520, ext. 121.
What’s the difference between a Small Group and an Activity Group?
Small groups gather at least twice per month as a community to pray, study, build relationships and serve together. Activity groups are for people who are interested in gathering for the sake of social connection and fellowship. Many activity groups with a wide variety of interests can be found at www.hopewdm.org/groups.
What if we need to add members to our small group?
If you are interested in adding members to your small group please contact Melissa Johnson-Matthews at 222-1520, ext. 121 or smallgroups@hopewdm.org.
