What is the Weekend Prayer Ministry?
The Weekend Prayer Ministry has Prayer Partners available to pray one on one with you every weekend, after every service. If you have a need for physical, emotional, or spiritual healing, a Prayer Partner is willing to pray with you. The Weekend Prayer Partners have had special training and are eager to pray with you.
Jesus said "For where two or three come together, I am with them." Matthew 18:20 NIV
God wants to heal us completely!
The Weekend Prayer Ministry also has a team of Intercessors who will pray silently for the person being prayed for, the Prayer Partner who is praying, and/or the congregation as a whole. The Intercessor listens to God for directions for their prayers.
How can I serve?
If you are new to prayer or an experienced pray-er, the Weekend Prayer Ministry needs you! If you feel God leading you into prayer ministry, we would like to talk to you about joining this team. We have special training sessions and monthly team meetings. We also will work with you one on one as you get comfortable in praying for others.
How do I get started?
Prayer Partners must be trained, accountable and follow the church policy on prayer ministry. The team meets monthly on the fourth Thursday of every month from 7:00 -8:00 pm in Room 215.
