What is Project H2O?
Project H2O is the first project of Mission: 2008 Hope for the World. We will raise money to build wells in Ghana, West Africa. Clean, living water will help prevent disease and raise the standard of living for all villages blessed by its presence.
Why Ghana?
Hope will partner with Pastor Sam Dunya and GlobeServe Ministries to build wells in Ghanaian villages where GlobeServe plants churches. The wells will be placed in view of the churches as reminders of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Hope has a strong partnership with Pastor Sam and GlobeServe Ministries, which has been transforming lives in Ghana since 1996. Hope's Mission Ghana trips have given dozens of Hope members a first-hand look at the hardships faced by the people of Ghana, where villagers often have to walk up to ten miles a day for water.
