How do we get to Mission Robin's Nest?
Members of the mission team fly into Montego Bay, Jamaica. They will be met at the airport by representatives from Robin's Nest and transported by van 45 minutes north to "The Nest."
What projects do we do?
Volunteers with a heart for serving children will serve in various capacities including:
-Assisting pod parents with cleaning and chores
-Light construction projects in need of: painters, carpenters, plumbers, masons,
electricians, auto mechanics, gardeners/landscapers and other "handy" people.
-Working with physically challenged children in need of: occupational therapists,
physical therapists, speech therapists, and others trained in specialized or medical fields

Interest Meeting for January and April trips: Sunday, Sept. 18 at 1:00 pm in Rm 214
Training Meeting for January trip: Sunday, Dec. 11 at 12:30 pm
Packing Day/Prayer Meeting for January trip: Saturday, Jan. 7 at 9:00 am in Rm 104
Training Meetings will be scheduled per trip. An e-mail will be sent to each trip's participants with meeting dates.
Who can go?
A maximum of 10 can be housed at "The Nest." Minimum age for participants is 12 years old if accompanied by a parent/guardian.
A large one-bedroom apartment can accommodate a small team (8 people of same gender or family members). Larger teams will be housed at the school down the hill from "The Nest."
What is the cost?
Estimated cost is $1,000 - $1,200 but will vary depending on airfare. The total cost covers airfare, food, lodging and insurance. Additional money will be needed for meals in the airports and souvenirs.
How do I sign up?
You can register online for the January 2012 Trip, the April 2012 trip or the July 2012 trip. Or you can print a registration form by clicking here and turning the form into the front office. A $150.00 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration. Registration forms can also be found at the Mission Center. Background checks will be conducted by Hope on all mission trip applicants ages 18 and older. This is to ensure the safety and protection of all mission team members and the people we serve. If you’ve had a background check run by Hope in the last three years, a new one will not be needed.
