Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. Volunteer Opportunities

There are many different opportunities offered throughout the year to come together in Christian fellowship, and tons of ways to serve. The following is a list of the fellowship opportunities and their descriptions.

 Coffee Servers
Coffee Servers set up coffee & treats before, or clean up after, all weekend services and the Immersion service on Thursday night. It is a once-a-month commitment.

Worship On Wednesdays Meal
Hope offers a Wednesday night dinner that takes place before the WOW activities and chorus practices throughout the school year. The meal is served by a team of volunteers who have a once-a-month commitment. 

Sunday Morning Breakfast
Starting Sept. 9, fellowship and hot breakfast will be available in the Gym from 8:30-11:00 am. This will be a great time for small groups to get together, and for families and friends to share a meal before or after worship.

Seminar Meals
Many of the all-day events and seminars at Hope include a meal. The meals are prepared and served by a team of volunteers.

Funeral Luncheons
Funeral luncheons are offered anytime there is a funeral at Hope. They are served by a large group of people who donate their food and time to help prepare and serve
this luncheon.

New Member Class Meal
Hope welcomes new members with a meal and a chance to fellowship with other new members. This meal is served three times per year.

Taste of Hope
Hope’s annual summer outreach festival happens after the two weeks of Vacation Bible School. Free food, fun, and fellowship follow an awesome outdoor worship service. Activities have included a 5K walk/run, a grill-out, popcorn, cotton candy, inflatables, carnival games, prizes, and fireworks. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make this event happen from the planning stages six months beforehand, through setup, serving, and cleanup.

Rally Weekend Picnic
A church-wide picnic Sept. 8 & 9 kicks off the year’s events for all ministries. It consists of a cook-out with games on the church lawn. Volunteers are needed to set up, serve and clean up.

Thanksgiving Meal
Everyone is invited to the annual potluck feast in the Gym on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteers set up, decorate, tear down and create boxed meals for homeless people.

Servant Leaders
Servant leaders are people who are willing to come in during events and head up the kitchen activities. All food and supplies will be ready to go and volunteers will be there to serve. The responsibilty of the servant leaders is to oversee the
setup, serving, and cleanup of
the event.

Kitchen Crew
These volunteers help prepare the food for various events.

Cleaning Crew
Individuals or small groups looking to get involved with a project at Hope can serve by helping the Fellowship team with quarterly deep cleaning.

Training
Servant leaders, grillers and cooks will be trained in the commercial kitchen and on the grill when needed.
