Outreach Night
Contact: Lela Griffin at 222-1520

The mission of Lutheran Church of Hope ’s Outreach Night is to open our doors to people of all backgrounds – regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey – to show the love of Jesus Christ and provide access to a variety of necessary essentials to sustain, grow and succeed in life. Outreach Night is an opportunity to serve our neighbors as they get to know and grow with Jesus Christ. Each week, Hope will serve a nutritious, family-style meal free of charge. Everyone – singles, couples, families – are invited to come as they are. There will be opportunities to “shop” in the gym (each family receives one ticket to shop) for either clothes, food or other essentials.

Shelter Sandwich Team
Contact: Matt Olson or Marion Morris at 422-9160
One Sunday per month, volunteers supply either six dozen cookies, two dozen sandwiches, 48 small bags of chips or 48 pieces of fruit. Two hundred complete lunches are delivered to local homeless shelters/organizations each Sunday. In addition, we deliver sunscreen, bug spray and other needed items. Food items are also taken to six different missions and to Ruth Harbor. Volunteers are continually sought as the need is great for our area’s homeless population. “An empty stomach is worse than a broken heart.”
