Financial fraud is the fastest growing form of elder abuse. Seniors have spent a lifetime saving and preparing for their golden years and deserve financial security and peace of mind. This presentation by Detective Lloyd Carlson of the West Des Moines Police Department will offer examples of scams that seniors fall prey to and tools for seniors and their families to take action and protect themselves.
50+ Trip to Reiman Gardens

Join us for a trip to beautiful Reiman Gardens in Ames! Reiman Gardens celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2015. All year, the Gardens will celebrate the amazing achievements of the past and look toward our future goals. You will have time to enjoy the gardens, a brief guided tour and a catered lunch from Hickory Park. Cost: $28, includes transportation to and from Hope, admission to gardens, and lunch. Register by June 7.
