Express Your Faith Creative Arts Ministry offers Christ-centered experiences that engage hearts and minds through the arts.
Activities for all ages encourage creative expression as a means to glorify God, to strengthen faith in Christ Jesus, and to be led by the Holy Spirit.
First and third Thursdays (Sept. 3 & 17, Oct. 1 & 15, Nov. 5 & 19,

We begin the evening with a devotion and then enjoy fellowship with other artists as we create.
Writers’ Group First and third Sundays (Sept. 6 & 20, Oct. 4 & 18, Nov. 1 & 15,

Share your faith through your gift of written expression. The first Sunday of each month offers writing exercises while the third Sunday will feature guest speakers and a focus on publishing.

Audience: Adults
Be a part of this opportunity for dancers and non-dancers to experience Jesus through movement.

Study Rory Noland's book "Thriving as an ARtist" as we discuss our journey as an artist from the perspective of a servant's heart. This study is designed for people who enjoy anything artistic, from creating to viewing the arts. (Rory Noland will speak at the Hope Worship Arts Conference)
Beginning Watercolor Workshop Thursdays, Oct. 15, 22 and 29, 6:30-8:00 pm, Rm 102 Audience: Adults and high school students
Cost: $10 for supplies Artist Mike Mittermeier will lead this introduction to watercolor painting. You will also learn pen and ink techniques to create mixed media artwork.
Songwriting Workshop for High School Students Thursdays, Nov. 5 & 12, 7:30-8:30 pm, Rm 102 Audience: High school students Do you like to write lyrics but don’t know what to do with them? Join Ryan Buck and Alicia Menefee as they teach the fundamentals of songwriting and work with you to create a song.
Family Holiday Art Workshops Saturdays, Nov. 14 & Dec. 12, 10:00 am – noon, Rm 130 Audience: All ages
Sorry, childcare not available Cost: $5/family Bring your family and friends to create together. November’s art activities will reflect giving thanks. December’s workshop will be an opportunity to create art to use as gifts.

Art Gallery – Prepare Your Heart for Worship Hope’s gallery space creates opportunities to prepare hearts for Worship through the viewing of visual art. If you are interested in helping to coordinate displaying artwork or would like to share artwork you have created, please contact eyf@hopewdm.org.
Worship Environment Team Artists are needed to design the altars in the Worship Center and the Chapel with candles, fabrics, vases, and flowers. The altars are done in a spirit of prayer and love to glorify God and touch the hearts of those attending worship. If you have gifts of creativity you would like to share, please e-mail eyf@hopewdm.org.
