Mission Uganda is a chance to share God's love with children whose lives have been torn apart by war. Join ChildVoice International as we create a community of hope for former child soldiers and their families. You will travel to a small rural area north of Gulu in northern Uganda. There will be opportunities to serve in a variety of ways, including working at a medical clinic, helping with agricultural projects, working alongside educators as they teach young adults basic reading, writing and math, facilitating Bible studies, prayer or worship time, help with care of infants and young children, and supporting staff with sewing, cooking, etc. or helping to construct new buildings. Global Ministries Hope Supports Financially

ChildVoice International - Uganda
Missionary: Conrad Mandsager, Founder and CEO
ChildVoice International is a global Christian organization that restores the voice of children silenced by war by raising awareness, promoting research and creating effective, sustainable interventions. Although their mission is global, ChildVoice continues to focus its initial efforts in northern Uganda. They are working to create a long-term community of refuge and care for the child victims of the country's 22-year civil war.

Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage - Benin City, Nigeria
Missionary: Eric Idehen
Established in 2006 by Hope member Eric Idehen, the overall mission for the Cornerstone of Hope Orphanage is to provide love and care for underprivileged children, and for the children in this orphan environment to become educated, productive, self-sufficient and socially responsible participants in their community and the world.

Family Renewal Ministries
Missionaries: Tom & Collette Beytien
The mission of Family Renewal Ministries is to serve where God leads and to follow the desire to share the love of Christ in partnership with those who are called to serve the disenfranchised and the lost. Missionaries Tom & Collette Beytien are currently serving with the International Christian Centers for the Deaf in Mexico.

Fusion Mexico - Mexico City
Missionaries: Jonathan & Rocio Mikes
With 28 million inhabitants, Mexico City is the world's second largest city. The most recent Mexican census reports that 60 percent of the population is under age 30.  Sadly, less than one percent of the total population of Mexico City is involved in an evangelical church, and that figure might be even lower among young people.  The vision of Fusion Mexico is to see Mexico City saturated with communities of people who passionately follow Jesus.  Fusion Mexico wants to plant churches among young adults, with the hope that the congregations will quickly become Mexican-led.  Lord willing, these churches will send missionaries of their own to plant more churches.

International Christian Centers for the Deaf (ICCD)
Missionaries: Tom & Collette Beytien
The mission statement of ICCD is to reach the deaf in the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, with priority given to those who have no access to the Gospel. ICCD seeks to meet the needs of the whole person: social, educational, financial and especially spiritual needs. Having a residential school in Rio Bravo, Mexico allows ICCD to minister to approximately 150 deaf children when filled to capacity. Cuba is another area ICCD partners with, with 330 churches to reach the deaf.

Mission India - Northeastern India
Missionary: Del Netten (in U.S.) and Aroni Muchahary (in India)
Mission India is radiating the love of Christ to India's invisible and too-often ignored.  They work to assist Indian churches and indigenous mission agencies in planting reproducing churches in a systematic and measurable way.  Hope is providing training and resources to launch the ministry of a church planter in northeastern India.  Each church planter has a goal of starting two or more congregations during each two-year financial commitment.

World Vision - Umzimvubu Area Development Project
Umzimvubu is located in the northeastern corner of the Eastern Cape of South Africa, approximately 12 miles from the border with Lesotho. The area is home to an estimated 12,900 South Africans - representing 1,750 households, 509 orphans, 294 households caring for orphans or vulnerable children, and 170 child-headed households. Umzimvubu is in a remote area, making it hard for the economy to thrive since it is wholly based on agriculture and animal husbandry. However, most able-bodied men seek employment in mines and farms in other areas of South Africa. The practice of migrant labor has escalated the HIV prevalence rate, which in turn is causing the number of orphans and vulnerable children in the area to skyrocket.

Lutheran Church of Hope is partnering with World Vision to transform the Umzimvubu community by constructing and renovating classrooms and toilets, purchasing a school bus, improving classroom furniture and establishing a computer center for the seven schools in the area.
