Whatever you do for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you do for me.”
Matthew 25:40 NIV

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to reach out to our brothers and sisters in Christ – to be the face of Jesus to those who are sick, hungry, poor, or facing other desperate circumstances. In a very real way, the church of Jesus Christ has been given the task of carrying on His ministry, following His example into the lives of our neighbors, both here and abroad.

Serving others is one of the greatest blessings God offers us. Acts of selfless service allow us to bring glory to God and shine His light in this world.

Join Lutheran Church of Hope on the front lines of God’s mission field, locally in the Des Moines area, throughout the United States, and around the world. Hope’s website offers detailed listings of mission opportunities at Hope. Missions information is also available at the Mission Shack (near the main Welcome Center), in Hope’s monthly newsletters and bi-annual Discipleship catalogs.
“…He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them."  Hebrews 6:10 NIV
