Ignition House Group Food Coordinator
Purpose: The House Group Food Coordinator is responsible for recruiting and organizing parents to either prepare or donate money towards a weekly meal for an Ignition House Group.
Qualifications
- Regularly attends Lutheran Church of Hope, committed to the church’s teachings, mission and values
- A passion for hospitality and its powerful impact on students
- Capable of recruiting and organizing parents
- A desire to provide students with a safe way to engage in fellowship with each other
Responsibilities
- Coordinate parents to make food or donate money towards a weekly House Group meal
- Set up, serve and clean up after weekly House Group meal
- Stay in regular contact with House Group Leader
- Report any issue to your House Group Leader and Student Ministry staff member
Success Defined
- Students being able to enjoy fellowship through sharing a weekly meal together
- Involving parents in Ignition through providing food for students
Time Commitment: approximately 2 hours per week from Sept.13 – May 16
- Sunday Ignition House Group preparation, meal, and clean up (6:00 -7:00 pm): 1 hour
- Weekly coordination of meal (emails, phone calls, etc): 1 hour
