Ministry: Fellowship

Volunteer Position: Cook - prepare and cook food in a commercial kitchen

Location: Hope's kitchen at WDM

Days/Hours Needed: Days and hours vary depending on meals needed

Start/End Dates: May 25 - Aug 9

Age/Phycial requirements: 16 years and able to stand on feet for long periods of time.

Ministry Area: Children’s Ministry

Volunteer Position Description: General Office helper. This position will help with general office functions: filing, laminating name tags or other items, sorting and testing supplies (glue sticks, markers, etc.), sharpen pencils, etc.

Location: Children’s Ministry office area

Days/Hours Needed: 1-2 hours per week. Hours can be flexible --- during the work day preferred (9am-4pm), but could accommodate evening hours, if needed.

Start/End Date: June – August or anytime during those months.

Age/physical requirements: the only requirement is to be able to alphabetize, sort, laminate, etc.

Ministry Area: Children’s Ministry

 Volunteer Position Description: Weekend volunteer. Children’s ministry has programming for children age 3 – grade 4 almost every weekend during the summer. A volunteer in this program would interact with the children as they arrive for programming and then be a helper during the programming hour; helping with activities, crafts, taking kids to the bathroom, taking kids to get drinks, etc.

Location: Room 101 (where our 3, 4 & 5 year olds have their program)

Days/Hours Needed: Saturday evenings from 4:45 – 6:15 (or when service has ended and children are picked up by their parents). Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:30 and/or 10:45 – 11:15 (or when service has ended and children are picked up by their parents).

Start/End Date: Summer Kingdom Quest (KQ) takes place on the following weekends: May 30/31, June 6/7, June 13/14, June 20/21, June 27/28, July 11/12, July 18/19. August 1&2, August 8/9, August 15/16, August 22/23, August 29/30.

Age/physical requirements: Love working with children!
