Wednesday Evening Programming (Grades 1-5)
Worship on Wednesdays (WOW) is offered to children in Grades 1-5.
WOW is a midweek high energy evening for kids to come and learn new things about God!
WOW runs each Wednesday from 6:00-7:15pm! Below are some details on each Wednesday night at WOW.
What to expect at WOW: Children are placed in small groups based on their grade levels. Led by consistent volunteers for their grade level, children split their evening between small group time together and large group worship. Small groups are done in classrooms where groups will hear a Bible story, learn how it applies to their lives, have prayer time and do an activity that reinforces the lesson. In large group kids will worship with age-appropriate energetic songs and listen to a drama or speaker that teaches on their Bible truth for the night!
Curriculum: WOW teaches children Bible stories and truths that they can apply to their lives and that can help shape their idea of who God is!
WOW Meal: Each week of WOW, Lutheran Church of Hope offers a family friendly meal. Families are welcome to come for the meal together before WOW. The buffet-style meal is served each Wednesday from 4:45-5:45 pm. A free-will donation is asked to help with the cost of this meal.
Volunteers: Numerous adults and teens provide the great care we have for kids at WOW. Volunteers join in the fun while worshiping and learning alongside a class of kids. We invite you to join us by serving at WOW! To sign up to volunteer click here!
We welcome all families at WOW! We invite you to sign up online. Then we will place your child in a class that they will be in for the entire WOW year with consistent volunteers and friends to build relationships with!
