Children's Ministry
Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." -Matthew 19:14
Children's Ministry is here to partner with families to nurture and grow the faith of children! We believe as parents you are the primary faith nurturers for your children and our goal is help you in inspiring that faith!
We believe in pointing children to God and teaching them about who He is and that they can have a relationship with Him – even at their age! We do this by providing Bible-based teaching in each of our programs and events in relevant and fun ways!
At Lutheran Church of Hope we have many ways for families to get involved!
Weekends: Our weekend Sunday school program is called Kingdom Quest (KQ). KQ is offered each Saturday during the 5:00 pm worship service, and Sunday at 9:15 and 11:00 am.
Wednesdays: Worship on Wednesdays (WOW) is offered for children in Grades 1-5. WOW is structured in the same way as KQ, but teaches on a different subject each week. WOW is from 6:00-7:15 pm each Wednesday. A weekly dinner is also provided for families and is served starting at 4:45 pm.
Classes & Special Events: Children's Ministry offers various milestone classes for families to participate in such as First Communion and 3rd Grade Bibles. We also have annual events and activities such as Vacation Bible School to participate in.
